DIRECTIONS FROM BRISTOL AND LONDON

 

Take the M4 crossing the Severn Estuary, then exit at Jct. 24, going North on the A449. After 14 miles turn onto the A40 towards Abergavenny (all motorway-standard). At the roundabout before Abergavenny, take the A465 signed Hereford. After 2 miles turn right onto the B4521 signed Skenfrith. After 2 miles the Walnut Tree is on the left just past the Llanddewi Skirrid sign. If there is no parking space outside there is another car park 25 metres farther on. DIRECTIONS FROM HEREFORD

 

Take the A49 South, then A465 signed Abergavenny. After 21 miles turn left onto the B4521 signed Skenfrith. After 2 miles the Walnut Tree is on the left just past the Llanddewi Skirrid sign. DIRECTIONS FROM SOUTH WALES

 

From Cardiff and Newport on the M4, exit Jct.25A and take the A4042 towards Abergavenny. After 17 miles, at the roundabout before Abergavenny, take the A465 signed Hereford. After 2 miles turn right onto the B4521 signed Skenfrith. After 2 miles the Walnut Tree is on the left just past the Llanddewi Skirrid sign. DIRECTIONS FROM THE MIDLANDS

 

Take the M5 South and the M50 to Ross-on-Wye, going onto the A40 past Ross, turning right at the roundabout towards Hereford. After 3 miles turn left onto the B4521 signed Abergavenny. After 15 miles, passing through Skenfrith, the Walnut Tree is on the right half a mile after the Llanddewi Skirrid sign. If there is no parking outside there is another car park 25 metres downhill. DIRECTIONS FROM WEST WALES

 

Take the A40 via Brecon, to Abergavenny. At the traffic lights on the A40 in Abergavenny (landmark: Esso garage) turn left onto the B4521 signed Skenfrith. The B4521 turns right (Grosvenor Road) after 500m. After 3 miles the Walnut Tree is on the left just past the Llanddewi Skirrid sign. If there is no parking space outside there is another car park 25 metres farther on. A465 (or M4 - see the South Wales directions) is a route from Swansea, via Merthyr. At the roundabout South of Abergavenny, take the A465 signed Hereford. After 2 miles turn right onto the B4521 signed Skenfrith. See the map.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DIRECTIONS FROM ABERGAVENNY

 

At the traffic lights on the A40 in Abergavenny (landmark: Esso garage) turn onto the B4521 signed Skenfrith. The B4521 turns right (Grosvenor Road) after 500m. DIRECTIONS BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
